Summer Camp
Our Summer Camp is here now and we are currently registering youth for the summer. We have 250 slots available at our Rochester Unit and 99 at our Cumberland Road Unit. The fee for the summer is $175.00 with a $25.00 registration fee. Our Summer Camp program starts June 16 and ends August 22. The kids will take part in daily programs and weekly field trips.
Donations
Our Keystone and Torch Clubs will be visiting the shelters in Cumberland County. In an effort to provide items for the homeless we are asking for the community to donate the following items; blankets, toiletries, clothes, can goods, and anything that you may feel is needed. These items can be dropped off at either of our locations.
After School Program
We will begin accepting applications for or After School Program beginning August 1st. This program will begin August 25, 2008 and end June 6. The fee for the school year is $20 per month if a parent is not in need of transportation, and $30 per month for those who do need transportation.
Bobcats Game
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County will be traveling to Charolette, NC to watch the NBA basketball game between the Charolette Bobcats and the Cleveland Cavilers on December 6.
Volunteers
Thank you to all of the organizations and companies that helped us build our new playground. A special thanks goes out to the Junior League of Fayetteville for the $48,000 grant to make all this happen. Also, special thanks to Lowe's for the our lovely park. This event could not have taken place without the help of the volunteers, parents, stores, organizations, and people in the community.
